Confirming a booking

Your date is only secured once the required booking fee/deposit has been received and your booking has been confirmed.

Until then, the date may remain available for other enquiries.

The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed due date shown on your booking confirmation.

Cancellations

Your booking fee/deposit secures your date and is non-refundable if you decide to cancel.

If you cancel more than 30 days before your event, the booking fee/deposit will be retained.

If you cancel within 30 days of your event, 100% of the outstanding balance will become payable.

Cancellations must be made in writing or by email.

If you need to change the date of your event, please contact me as soon as possible. Any change of date is subject to availability and will be agreed individually.

Venue, Access & Setup

The client is responsible for providing accurate venue information and ensuring suitable access is available for loading, setting up and removing equipment.

The venue must provide a safe and suitable area for the equipment, access to an appropriate power supply and sufficient space for the services booked.

Please let me know in advance about stairs, restricted access, difficult loading arrangements, parking restrictions, sound limiters, curfews or any other venue restrictions that could affect the booking.

Where delays are caused by restricted or late access to the venue, I cannot guarantee that the agreed start time can be maintained.

Timings & Additional Time

Your agreed performance or hire times will be confirmed as part of your booking.

Additional time may be available on the day, subject to venue restrictions, availability and an additional charge.

Safety, Behaviour & Equipment

The client is responsible for the reasonable behaviour and supervision of their guests, including children.

I reserve the right to stop or suspend a service where abusive, threatening, violent or unsafe behaviour puts me, guests or equipment at risk.

The client may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing equipment damaged by the client or their guests.

Insurance & Equipment

Andy Flash DJ & Events holds Public Liability Insurance and electrical equipment is maintained and PAT tested where applicable. Certificates can be provided to venues when required.

All equipment must be allowed to operate in a safe environment. I reserve the right not to set up or continue operating equipment where doing so would be unsafe.

Circumstances Beyond My Control

In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond my reasonable control prevent me from providing the booked service, I will contact you as soon as possible and make reasonable efforts to find an appropriate solution.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
